I Use Economics, Psychology, and Analytics to Build Projects People Enjoy.

I'm Adam Raine, a product designer and engineer in Arlington, Virginia. At Unlocked Data, I lead client experience and product design for travel and expense products, from interfaces and workflows to analytical models and decision support.
I began building travel analytics software in 2020 while studying at Yale. I earned a BA in Economics, with additional coursework in computer science, statistics, and data science. That background shapes how I read behavior, incentives, fairness, and participation.
Centaur7 turns that work into practical tools, games, and stories. Each project should solve a problem, make something more fun, or help people connect around a shared interest. I build each one to be used or shared.
Director of Client Experience and Product Design · June 2024 to Present
I lead client experience and product design. Client discovery and product demonstrations inform the roadmap. I build analytical models and insight presentations that help clients decide what to do next, alongside the company style guide and reusable interface library.
Earlier: Product Software Engineer (Part-time), August 2020 to May 2023. I built travel analytics software with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor, taking features from design through testing and release.
UI/UX Engineer (Concurrent Contract) · December 2024 to April 2025
I designed and built native Swift interfaces and application logic for Glyph, a quantum-safe, end-to-end encrypted communications product.
