The Weekly Dollop
A Bake Off prediction game with private leagues and a Sunday newspaper.
I built this solo, including the editorial design, scoring engine, and publishing automation.
Six predictions filed before each episode.
Every Sunday the paper goes out. Eliminated bakers get obituaries, predictions get a betting desk, and league teams learn whether their drafted baker survived the tent. I designed the game and newspaper together, with player interviews, guest columns, and weekly awards shaped by the people playing.
Fresh Bakes is a set of six predictions for each episode. Play on the public board without an account, enter a private Fresh Bakes League, or add a drafted baker in a Fresh Bakes and Roll Model League.
When a drafted baker leaves the tent, choose an available replacement before the next deadline. Earlier points stay with the player who earned them. League dashboards bring entries, standings, weekly honors, and the paper together.
I separated a person's account from a team's league entry. Each league Seat holds the team name, participating Players, and weekly predictions.
People can share a team in one league and play independently in another, while keeping their own logins.
